Didier Ludot

C'est magnifique! This is the place to go if you want to find the best vintage couture. This collection has been carefully selected to reflect a love and understanding of fashion. Accordingly this is not where you go for a bargain. Prices are high and reflect fact that items here are real vintage couture.

A visit to Didier Ludot is a joy for the serious vintage collector and lover of fashion history. The boutique is home to a vast collection of couture vintage from the 20's to 50's dresses to 80's designer handbags. It's all here in one exquisite collection.

You should also visit his other boutique across the park, celebrating the timeless icon of french style, the little black dress.  La Petite Robe Noire houses both vintage couture and new garments designed by Ludot.

Espace Guerrisol

This is a treasure trove of very cheap thrift. Ok, so you will find many pieces you wouldn't want to wear, but, hidden amonst the pilesare items of pure gold. On our last visit we found 3 vintage cocktail frocks for under 10 euros each, a handful of cardigans for 2 euros and a pair of red ankle boots.

This is the place to go if you enjoy the rummage and the adrenalin rush of finding something amazing for a bargain basement price. This is why those in the know keep coming back here again and again.

Pretty Box

Pretty Box has a very hip selection of clothes and accessories that will appeal to you if you love a bit of glam in your wardrobe.

The collection is carefully put together with attention to current trends.

Given the high quality of items here and the care in selecting on-trend pieces, we think the prices are very reasonable.

They have a great collection of items from the 80's but other eras are still well represented.

Amongst all the luscious items here, we found amazing leather boots, sequence tops and devine fur coats. C'est formidable. If you are looking for something uniquely stylish then a visit to Pretty Box should be on the top on your list.

Episode

We just love a visit to Episode on the rue Tiquetonne; a charming piétonne street just off the bustling market street of rue Montorgueil.

Popular with students and fashionistas alike; Episode provides reliable vintage selections at reasonable second hand prices. We find it impossible to go into this shop without buying at least one item.

As you can see, you will find lots of denim, leather jackets, floral play suits, racks of vintage dresses and hundreds of men's shirts and t shirts.

It's all here and easy to find, what ever you are after. So if you don't like to rummage you will enjoy this address.

Omaya Vintage

If you feeling like channeling your inner Debbie Harry (Blondie) then head over to Omaya Vintage in Oberkampf. Here you can pick up 70's and 80's boots for around 40 euros, dresses from 10 euros and fur jackets for around 80 euros. We had a lot of fun trying on lots of different looks and in the end decided on a faux leopard fur jacket....purrrrr. Men won't miss out either. We saw military jackets, vintage leather satchels and lots of vintage shirts to keep him looking fine.
