Omaya Vintage

If you feeling like channeling your inner Debbie Harry (Blondie) then head over to Omaya Vintage in Oberkampf. Here you can pick up 70's and 80's boots for around 40 euros, dresses from 10 euros and fur jackets for around 80 euros. We had a lot of fun trying on lots of different looks and in the end decided on a faux leopard fur jacket....purrrrr. Men won't miss out either. We saw military jackets, vintage leather satchels and lots of vintage shirts to keep him looking fine.

Frip'irium

Spending an afternoon wandering the fashionable streets of the Marais is one of our favorite things to do in Paris. While in the area we always pop into this excellent vintage boutique. Their collection of colourful frocks from the 70's and 80's is excellent. Also, for a bit of fun on our last visit we picked up some vintage pin up girl swimwear. Allez à la plage (let's go to the beach) anyone?

Paul and Claire Vintage

Well positioned on the increasingly hip Rue des Martyrs is Paul and Claire Vintage. Their small boutique is jam packed with styles mainly from the 60's onwards. We spotted some good value 60's shift dresses in bright colours together with some sparkly 80's tops.

A good spot for those who enjoy rummaging; this friperie makes for a nice little stop on in your vintage journey around Montmatre.

With three locations in the fashionable Marais district, Free'p'Star stores are fun to visit. They are popular for good reasons; good collection, good prices and great locations. They are jam packed with vintage items from predominately the 70's and 80's. There are bargains to be found here, but you also have to compete with the crowds that pack these stores out every day.

This is a wonderfully disorganised space crammed with vintage treats and lots of other shoppers; but we think that's gotta be that's be a big part of the store's charm. We'll see you there early so we can grab the best bargains!

La Petite Fripe

Oh what a lovely little friperie!

We were having lunch across the road at one of the many cool cafes in the area when we spottedt his inviting little red shop and popped in. We were really excited by what we found.

They have a large selection of retro sunglasses and other accessories that were all in very good condition.

We went at sale time and bought a couple of very pretty vintage dresses for less than 10 euros. We also saw a good selection of leather, fur and denim at really reasonable prices.

La Petite Fripe has a warm and friendly vibe that makes this must visit address on your vintage trip around the Oberkampf and Belleville areas.

Adöm

There is a lot of good vintage shopping to be found in Bastille. The area has a indie and rock feel to it and many of the vintage stores in the area stock accordingly. Think boots, denim and leather jackets.

Adöm has two stores, opposite each other, one for men (at 35) and one for women (at 56). Both are fun to rummage in and have a wide range of retro and second hand.

The prices here are very reasonable and the collection is always funky. We found a fabulous pair of 80's red boots for under 50 euros. Very happy!

One of our favourite boutiques up here, is Chinemachine.  They have a good selection of vintage dresses, shoes and other pieces at really reasonable prices. We found a cool vintage kimono and colourful retro summer dresses at very low prices. We think you will be smitten.
